Secretariat support for St Vincent and The Grenadines
In 2016-17 and 2019, the Secretariat helped St Vincent and The Grenadines to report on human rights in the country under the United Nation’s Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process.
Support for legislation
The Secretariat helped high court judges and prosecutors from St Vincent and The Grenadines improve their knowledge of computer-related crime.
In 2016-17, the Secretariat helped the country set up a national commission on non-communicable diseases.
In 2015-16, the Secretariat's Hub and Spokes II programme sent an expert to the country’s National Trade Ministry. They advised on trade policy, export strategy, trade in services and industrial policy.
In April 2019, the Secretariat provided a plan for economic reforms to make it easier for foreign firms to conduct business in St Vincent and The Grenadines.
In 2016-17, the Secretariat helped St Vincent and The Grenadines agree its maritime boundaries with St Lucia. The Secretariat sent an expert to advise on maritime safety, ship registry and maritime pollution. This work concluded in 2019.
